Asphalt Maintenance

Asphalt patching is necessary when there are long or wide cracks, asphalt rubble spots or degradation in your asphalt surface that cannot be crack filled. The asphalt patching process can be completed generally within a few hours. This involves cutting out of the preexisting asphalt, adding gravel if necessary, leveling the sub base, filling with hot asphalt mix, and tamping or rolling (depending on the size of the area).  When we estimate a surface we will give you our professional opinion of what your best option is, while keeping quality our top priority as well as cost. 

Crack Filling is the best option when there are cracks present that run 50% or better the length or width of the surface or cracks that are 1/2 inch wide and 8 feet long or better. Crack fill is a quick process, it involves heating of the rubberized crack fill block. applying the filler and squeegeeing the filler in place. It dries with in 5 to 10 minutes. We recommend sealing the surface the same day. Again, when we come estimate the job we will go over all the areas we feel need attention to keep your asphalt surface intact and in working condition.
